What Does MCT Oil Taste Like?
It is pretty tasteless, some have described it as bland. I feel it is a smooth taste that doesn’t linger and might have an extremely mild taste that doesn’t taste like coconut at all.
Is Coconut Oil The Same As MCT Oil?
No, it is not. Coconut oil contains about 60% of the medium chain fatty acids whereas pure MCT oil is 100% of the stuff you want. The stuff you want is caprylic acid (C8) and capric acid (C10).
What are Free Fatty Acids?
A fatty acid is a carboxylic acid with a long aliphatic chain. It can be either saturated or unsaturated fat. Fatty acids are an important sources of fuel for the body.
